Something in the Air.

Hello hello!
So many things to post over the past weeks and a dying laptop to stop my plans. Now it is finally ok again and life can go at least a bit back to normal.

Even though the official situation in the world has not changed I can feel the change in the air as weather gets warmer and nature is coming back to life. There are more people on the streets and occasionally there is a possibility to have a conversation with a long gone friend while standing on the opposite sides of the street. It is better than nothing for sure!
I even had the courage to enter a local bakery some days ago and get us some croissants! Sun and warmth DO help to become more human again!

We now have one room that looks a bit like us in the house. Ironically it contains of ALL our stuff and is quite cramped, but it is OUR stuff and M constructed a temporary floor which is light and not mouldy (there is a hole next to the stove because he ran out of material. There will be floor there as well!). Now I even have some table space for work if I ever find time again; but if I do there will be sun shining in from these south facing windows!

My future workspace and our temporary storage. I actually felt good sitting at the table and this is a very good thing!

Now the second half of ground floor is empty from furniture and we can start tearing up the floor and tearing down the walls and ceiling.

Finally work can begin in the rooms we meant to renovate first! This, with any luck, will be our living room - dining room. Fancy wallpaper, don't you think?
Actually we already pulled up the Soviet vinyl covering the floor and the wooden floor seems to be original from the 30s. The boards were so long! Of course they are sadly dead from all these years under the vinyl so we cannot keep them.

The work will continue inside as we are also slowly progressing on our caravan to move it to the site shortly so stay tuned!

Last but not least some pictures of coming spring. I really hope to be able to capture cherry blossoms very very soon!

Muah!
M.
